Description

A tasty alternative to dips, with a nice crunch and abundant flavour

It’s true – can’t be bothered whipping up a dip, no stress. You don’t even need a mortar and pestle for this, if you’ve got a healthy stocked spice rack you can make this recipe with almost any kind of nut. If you’re anything like me, chances are there’s a few jars or bags of nuts that don’t really have enough in them to hold any worth in a recipe – maybe a teaspoon here, a tablespoon there. But that’s OK! In fact, this recipe is ample opportunity to use what’s left.

For this we used a mixture of pecans and pine nuts and you really can’t tell – it tastes fantastic with the spice mix.

Team it with our simple salmon recipe to take your next weeknight whip up a hit or serve it with olive oil and a loaf of fresh bread!
